Custom Design and Sewing Services

If you have looked all over for the perfect costume or dress for your event and cannot find what you are looking for....  

Have it custom made.  From idea to completion, we can help you  bring your vision to fruition.  We will assist you in designing, coordinating fabrics and customizing your garment to fit YOU perfectly.  The sky is the limit and we work with customers both near and far.  

Considering today's prices of items, a custom made garment may not be as expensive as you may think.  Plus, we have a lot of fun in the process!

 For custom garment commissions, our labor rate for design and sewing services is $35.00 per hour plus fabric, trims, and a notions fee. All time spent researching, gathering materials, drafting patterns, constructing, decorating, fitting, final pressing and preparing the garment for shipping are subject to the labor rate. For most sewing orders, the notions fee is $10.00. The notions fee, however, may vary depending on the notions necessary for the garment's construction. The notions fee covers the cost of zippers, buttons, thread, and other items necessary for construction.  

1.    Give us a call or use the contact form below or on our Contact page to initiate your inquiry.  Please be sure to include your wear date, any inspiration photos you may have and your budget.  Please understand that out of respect for other designers and my abilities, we do will not provide exact replicas of a garment.  

2.    For local clients, we will set up appointment to discuss the details of your project.   For non-local clients, we can discuss via email, phone or Zoom.  

3.   After we discuss the project, we will give you an estimate for your project.   Due to varying material costs, it is very hard to give an exact estimate prior to starting work.  We do our best to keep our customers informed and we are used to working with many different budgets.  Details and items added to the garment by the client during the construction process will add to the final cost. You will be informed of an approximate cost for those additions at the time of your request. 

3.    To book an project, we will need a deposit and measurements to get the project rolling and secure a spot on our calendar.  Deposits are based on the estimate of your project.   This deposit is non-refundable and will be applied toward your final balance.   

•   Projects $400 and under the deposit is $100
•   Projects $500 - $1000 the deposit is $200
•   Projects $1000 and up the deposit is $500

 Have a product you are trying to get to market?  We can help.  We offer consulting services from a sewing prospective as well as prototype and sewing pattern creation.  Rates are $50 per hour and we require a $200 retainer to start your project.  The retainer will be applied to your invoice.  We will provide personal presentatins as well as written reports with recommendations geared towards the sucess of your project.   For sewing pattern creation, while the design concept are property of its' owner, the actual sewing patterns and instructions remain the property of our company.  You will have written permission to use the pattern for its' intended purpose for the manufacturing of your product, however the sale or trade of the pattern/instructions themselves, are not allowed and require further arrangements.  

We accept Cash, Check, Credit and Debit Cards, PayPal and Venmo. 

Deposits can be made in person with any of the mentioned methods, we can send an invoice or you can use the following link to check out through out Online Store.

Your deposit is non-refundable and will be applied to your balance.   Should your plans change and you need to cancel your project, your deposit will convert to a credit for a later project or any product or service we offer.
