Correen’s Dress Up Shop offers a carefully selected collection of beautiful formal wear for Every Body. We provide both new and gently used dresses in a variety of colors and styles, catering to sizes 000-28. Whether you need outfits for Prom, Black Tie events, Mother of the Bride, Homecoming, or Evening wear, we have you covered.

Our shop features new trending styles alongside comfortable classics, ensuring there’s something for all budgets and body styles. We also offer professional alterations and fitting services from skilled seamstresses in Brighton, MI, as well as pressing, all in one convenient location.

In addition to our main collection, we have consignment dresses available year-round, with new offerings rotating seasonally based on popular events. 

Prom season runs from January through May, while wedding attire for mothers, Black Tie, and long formals is available from April to December.  Homecoming dresses are stocked from August to October.

Please note that all sales are final for both new and consignment purchases, and no returns or exchanges will be accepted. We accept cash, Venmo, and credit/debit cards (with a 4% fee added to credit and debit transactions).

Alteration and pressing services are available at an additional cost, provided by our talented seamstress in Brighton, MI. 

We offer both open shopping hours and private shopping appointments, which last one hour. An adult must accompany the shopper for Prom and Homecoming sales. Due to past no-shows, a $25 deposit is required for private shopping appointments to ensure attendance. This deposit will be applied to your purchase or alteration services. Please note that no refund or credit will be given for no-shows or appointments not canceled within 24 hours.

Correen’s Dress Up Shop Consignment Rack offers a carefully selected collection of beautiful formal wear for Every Body.  If you have formal dresses in your closet that no longer serve your needs, bring them in and let us sell them for you.  We accept the following:

• Bridal - Ceremony, Reception, Shower, Rehearsal Dinner Dresses and Veils
• Mother of the Bride or Groom
• Black Tie Long Formals
• Semi-Formal and Guest Dresses
• Cocktail 
• Homecoming
• Prom

Criteria for Acceptance:

• All dresses must be of recent style within the last 5 years.
• Have proof of recent dry cleaning or New with Tags.  Dresses must be clean and in ready to wear condition- no Exceptions!  Please inspect your dresses carefully before bringing them in.
• We can be selective with online purchased dresses and may decline certain overseas Amazon Brands 

Selling details:

• We price your dresses according to condition, brand and current market value and strive to get the best price for each item.  Consignment dresses typically are priced about 40% off retail price.  
• You will receive half of what the dress sells for when it sells.
• When a dress sells, you have your choice of picking up cash or Venmo
• Our year is divided up into quarters of 120 days each.  At the end of each sale period, you have to the choice to pick up your unsold dresses, leave them for another 120 days or donate them to Lacasa.

Bridal Dresses:

• All Bridal Gowns and Veils we take in are placed in clear vinyl bags and have special handling standards to protect the item.  
• If a dress has been preserved it will need to be unsealed for hanging.
• We ask that you provide us with as many details as possible on the gown that will help us find its new life.  Ie. Designer, Style number, Original Price, Any Alterations down including measurements and height, etc.   A photograph of the dress worn or on a model is also very helpful.

We work hard to sell and promote all our dresses both in person and online.  It always helps us, when you share our shop with your friends and family.
